Do we need to take precautions regarding Malaria?
- Depending on your choice in destination with us, it may be necessary. All this information will be provided upon booking a safari with us.
Am I able to bring my own firearm to hunt on my Safari?
- Absolutely. On our printable documentation page you will find all the necessary forms to do so, and should you require anymore guidance on this, we will discuss it in depth via email or telephonically upon you booking a hunt.
What if I chose not to bring my own Rifle?
- Some clients do decide to leave their firearms at home and choose to rent one from us for the duration of the hunt. We have a wide variety of calibers available as well as hand loaded ammunition for them. If you are considering this option, we will discuss details via email or telephonically upon you booking a hunt.
Is it possible to bow hunt on safari?
- Absolutely. We are setup for bow hunting, and have several blinds that animals frequent and spot and stalk hunting for the truly skilled does reap success too.
Are there any hidden costs I may not be aware of?
- NO!!! Your Daily rate covers everything from the time you are fetched from the airport upon arrival up until the time we drop you off again for your departure.From ground transport, hunting and field preparation of trophies to Food, drinks, accommodation, laundry services and all other amenities available are included in your daily rate. All you have to pay for is your trophies. Gratuity towards your guide, tracker, skinner, cleaners and camp hands is done at your own discretion, it is common procedure, however it is not obligatory.
What are the processes regarding taxidermy?
- We do all the Caping, salting and field preparation of your trophies, as well as organise the transport to the local taxidermist. In order for it to ship back to your country it has to undergo a raw prep or Dip and Pack Process. You could either do your taxidermy work in South Africa or have the prepped items shipped to a taxidermy of your choice back at home. We will put you in touch with the local taxidermists and they will discuss their pricing structures with you once you are here.
